The artist of this version is not recorded. North Africa held a special place in Air France's history. Founded in 1933, the airline built close ties with Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, and during the Second World War it moved its operations from France to Casablanca. After the war its posters returned again and again to the minarets, palms and white cities of the Maghreb as an easy flight south from Paris.
