This vintage-style poster art for Air France sets the iron lattice of the Eiffel Tower against a field of green, with an airliner heading out across the sky and the promise "Paris Londres 1h30." The slogan is a genuine piece of Air France history: in 1936 the young airline, formed in 1933, advertised Paris to London "en 1h30" in a Roger de Valerio poster built around its Dewoitine 338, a three-engined airliner of the day. An hour and a half between the two capitals was then something worth shouting about, and this design keeps that spirit of fast, comfortable flying across the Channel.
