A deep blue sticker announcing 'Air Holland trekt de wijde wereld in', Air Holland heads out into the wide world, with a twin-engined jet in the airline's orange and blue stripes flying over a bed of orchids. The Amsterdam-based charter airline was founded in 1984 and, alongside its Boeing 757s, flew a leased Boeing 767-200ER in 1990-91 and Boeing 767-300ERs from 2002, the kind of aircraft that could take it on longer, faraway holiday routes. Air Holland ceased operations in 2004.
