A four-engined jet in Air Namibia's blue and gold sweeps past a big halftone orange sun on this sticker, above the slogan 'Airline of the wide open spaces'. The airline's roots go back to South West Air Transport, set up in November 1946; it later became Namib Air and adopted the Air Namibia name in October 1991, the same year it began flying from Windhoek to Frankfurt with a Boeing 747SP. The Namibian government shut the airline down on 11 February 2021, closing a story that had run for some seventy-five years.
