The TriStar was where Air Transat began: founded in Montreal in December 1986, the airline made its first flight on 14 November 1987 from Montreal to Acapulco with an L-1011, and by December 1990 its fleet numbered five of them. Stickers like this were given to passengers to put on their luggage.
