Air Transat was founded in Montreal in December 1986 and began flying on 14 November 1987 with a Lockheed L-1011 TriStar from Montreal to Acapulco. Over the years its long-haul fleet moved on through Airbus A310s to the A330s that carried its holiday travellers to Europe and the sun. Airlines handed out stickers like this to passengers, and many ended up on a suitcase heading for a beach.
