AirBC was founded in 1980 and based at Vancouver International Airport. In 1987 Air Canada bought 85% of the company and AirBC flew as an Air Canada Connector regional partner, with Air Canada taking the remaining shares in 1995. In 2001 it was combined with four other regional carriers into Air Canada Regional, the operation that became Air Canada Jazz. Airlines handed stickers like this to passengers to put on their luggage.
