A small white label reading 'Compliments of' above the slanted navy AirCal wordmark with its red accent. The airline began flying as Air California on January 16, 1967, with two Lockheed Electras from Orange County Airport, today's John Wayne Airport. It adopted the shorter AirCal name on April 6, 1981, which places this sticker in the airline's final years. American Airlines agreed to buy AirCal in November 1986, completed the purchase on May 1, 1987, and merged it out of existence that July.
