This cream piece reads with compliments from Airlines of Western Australia, beneath a green-and-red flying wedge logo, with a Perth street address along the bottom and a line naming the airline as a division of Ansett Transport Industries. The Perth-based carrier began as MacRobertson Miller, whose roots go back to 1927, and took the Airlines of Western Australia name in July 1980 under Ansett ownership. The name did not last long: in October 1984 the airline became Ansett WA, which places this piece in the early 1980s.
