Magenta and sky blue frame the Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-400 Spirit of Disneyland, painted bright blue with Mickey Mouse peering from the tail and Disney friends along the fuselage. Alaska unveiled the jet in December 2002, calling it the first domestic aircraft to carry Disney characters and the first time a major U.S. airline had teamed with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts on a paint scheme. The livery showed Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck and Goofy with the words We're going to Disneyland, and took the place of the airline's Eskimo tail on that aircraft.
