A Lockheed Electra banks through the sky beside a smiling traveler, with "Jet Powered Electra Flagships" lettered in red. American Airlines introduced the turboprop Lockheed L-188 Electra in January 1959, with the first Electra Flagship flight on January 23 of that year, just two days before its first Boeing 707 service. Because the Electra's propellers were driven by turbine engines, the airline marketed it as jet powered. Like the early 707s, it carried American's traditional "Flagship" name until the Astrojet branding arrived in 1961. The artist of this poster is not recorded.

The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
