A four-engined Airbus A340 in Austrian Airlines colors banks away across this long sticker, its tail striped in the red-white-red of the Austrian flag. Austrian introduced the A340-200 in 1995 and the A340-300 in 1997 for its long-haul routes from Vienna. The airline traces its modern operations to 1957, and its first flight, a leased Vickers Viscount to Zürich and London, came on 31 March 1958. Stickers like this were handed out to celebrate a new flagship in the fleet.
