A chubby cartoon 727 swoops out of this round Boeing sticker, three tail-mounted engines and all, under bold red numerals. The real 727 first flew on February 9, 1963, and entered service with Eastern Air Lines in February 1964. With two engines on the rear fuselage and a third fed through an S-shaped duct at the base of its T-tail, it was the only trijet Boeing ever produced. By the time production ended in 1984, 1,832 had been built.
