Braniff International's chunky "BI" monogram leads this bright red label for its Pronto Package service, lettered in white italic capitals. The BI logo came out of Braniff's famous makeover with designer Alexander Girard, and the airline had carried package express and air freight since September 1929. Founded by Thomas Elmer Braniff in 1928, Braniff flew from Dallas until it ceased operations in May 1982. Rather than a luggage sticker, this was a working label, stuck on small parcels flown in the bellies of its jets.
