Braniff International Airways invited travelers south to Paraguay with this 1950s poster, set on a sunny yellow ground and centered on a woman gracefully balancing a basket on her head. Braniff had become an international airline in June 1948, when it opened service to Lima, and it pushed its South American network steadily onward: the route reached La Paz and Rio de Janeiro in 1949, and in March 1950 it was extended to Asunción, the Paraguayan capital, before continuing to Buenos Aires that May. The artist of this design is not recorded.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
