'Pride in Service' arches over a big red '737' and the Britannia name, all set above red and blue sunset stripes. Britannia began re-equipping with the Boeing 737-200 in 1968 and was the first European airline to operate the type. The company had started life at Luton in December 1961 as Euravia, flying Lockheed Constellations for tour operator Universal Sky Tours, and took the Britannia Airways name in August 1964. Stickers like this were handed to holidaymakers to put on their suitcases.
