This souvenir is a British Airways economy-class boarding pass, printed in English and Arabic, for flight BA 122 from Muscat to London, issued by Oman Aviation Services. The Omani company grew out of a ground-handling business set up in 1970, moved into the new terminal at Seeb International Airport in 1973 and became the joint-stock Oman Aviation Services in 1981. Handling check-in for visiting carriers such as British Airways was part of its work, and the pass still carries the flight, date and seat details of a real journey.
