A close-up of a Lockheed L-1011 TriStar engine, framed in a crisp octagon on a white ground, announces "TriStar Superflights to Paris, Brussels and Madrid" in this 1970s British Airways poster. The TriStar was first chosen by British European Airways, which later merged with BOAC to form British Airways, and the new widebody brought big-jet comfort to short European hops. Every TriStar flew on three Rolls-Royce RB211 turbofans, one under each wing and one in the tail fed by an S-shaped intake, and the engine's fuel economy and low noise were among the best of its time. The artist is not recorded.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
