This tidy baggage label carries the blue Capitol International Airways logo, its name underlined with a sweeping jet-like stroke, above ruled lines for name, address, city, state and telephone. Capitol was incorporated in Tennessee in 1946 as Capitol Airways, a supplemental carrier that flew mostly charters. It changed its legal name to Capitol International Airways in March 1967, which dates this label to 1967 or later, became Capitol Air in 1982, and stopped flying in November 1984.
