This slim cream label is shaped around a green speed arrow, its tip trailing streamlines, with Colonial Airlines lettered inside and the small slogan Fly There - Fly Back above. Colonial began in 1928 as Canadian Colonial Airways, flying the mail between New York and Montreal by way of Albany, and was renamed Colonial Airlines in April 1942. By 1956 it ran five daily nonstop DC-4 flights between LaGuardia and Montreal, the year it merged into Eastern Air Lines.
