On a sunny yellow background, a blue and silver four-engine airliner flies over a green map of Bermuda, beneath the hand-lettered line Skycruises to Bermuda and above a green Colonial Airlines band; two small seals in the corner add a touch of officialdom. Colonial was awarded its Bermuda routes in May 1946 and began scheduled flights there on 1 August 1947, later flying a nonstop DC-4 from LaGuardia to Bermuda's Kindley Field before joining Eastern in 1956.
