A round baggage label from Connellan Airways of Alice Springs, with lines for name, from and to written across a sweep of golden wings, a small emblem at the centre carrying the Latin motto "Crescite vel Perite", and the airline's name curving around the orange rim. Connellan's air services in Australia's Northern Territory began in 1939 with medical and mail flights from Alice Springs. The airline was renamed Connair in 1970 and was sold to East-West Airlines by 1980. Passengers were given labels like this to fill in and fix to their bags.
