ČSA was founded on 6 October 1923 as the country's state carrier, and its first official commercial flight followed later that month, when pilot Karel Brabenec flew an Aero A-14 biplane from Prague-Kbely to Bratislava with a single journalist aboard. From those modest beginnings the airline grew into one of Europe's longest-lived flag carriers, linking Prague with cities across the continent for a century. The artwork is a modern design in the vintage manner, and no original artist is recorded.
