Rather than an airline's name, this blue roundel salutes the people up front: a Douglas DC-8 seen nose-on, gear down, beneath an arc of white stars, with DC-8 Flight Crew lettered below. The DC-8 was Douglas's first jetliner. It made its first flight on 30 May 1958, and on 18 September 1959 Delta and United both put it into passenger service on the same day. Crews who flew the type were proud of it, and stickers like this one turned up on many a flight bag.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
