Santa himself, with red cap and snowy beard, smiles out from this round Finnair sticker, ringed by the words 'The Official Airline Of Santa Claus.' Finnair's link with Santa dates to 1983, the year it launched its first direct flight from Helsinki to Tokyo over the North Pole, and the airline marked 40 years of the title in 2023. It still uses it today, even on the livery of one of its Airbus A350s. Founded in 1923 as Aero O/Y, Finnair took its present name in 1953.
