David Klein's Rome poster puts a member of the Pontifical Swiss Guard center stage in his famous striped uniform of blue, yellow and red, with a plumed helmet, set against the Colosseum on one side and St. Peter's Basilica on the other. "ROME" is lettered in green above, with "Fly TWA Jets" at the foot. Klein (1918–2005) was TWA's signature poster artist, and his Rome designs from the early jet age are among the most collected of the series.
