David Klein's late-1950s Las Vegas poster splits the same woman in two: on the night side she wears an evening gown and holds a cigarette holder amid casino games, and on the day side she lounges in a swimsuit by the pool and palms, with the sun for a face. It neatly sold both halves of the Vegas trip — the casinos after dark and the desert sun by day. Klein (1918–2005) was TWA's signature poster artist, and this is one of his wittiest designs.
