David Klein's early-1960s Miami poster is pure wit: a giant pair of jeweled cat-eye sunglasses hangs over a blazing sun, and through and below them stretches Miami Beach's hotel row on Collins Avenue — the Fontainebleau, the Eden Roc and the Deauville. It was printed in several versions, and it remains one of Klein's most popular TWA designs. Klein (1918–2005) created TWA's signature destination posters of the jet age.
