This 1957 TWA poster sells the airplane as much as the destination: a Lockheed Constellation glints in the sun as it breaks through towering clouds over the California hills, under the headline "Fly TWA to San Francisco" and the boast "World-Proved Constellations." Lockheed built the triple-tailed Constellation from 1943 to 1958, and it was the backbone of TWA's fleet until the jet age. The artist is not recorded.
