David Klein's Spain poster shows a woman wrapped in a black lace mantilla worn over a tall peineta comb, with a flamenco dancer behind her in a cascade of ruffles, castanets in hand. "Spain" is set in ornate black lettering beside a red "Fly TWA," and the "up up and away TWA" slogan runs along the bottom edge. Klein (1918–2005) was TWA's signature poster artist, and his Spanish designs are among the most decorative in the series.
