Pink borders frame this Flying Tiger 'Priority Airfreight' label, made for shipments of exhibit material, with lines for the sender, date, air waybill number, piece count and destination. The Flying Tiger Line was founded in 1945 by Robert W. Prescott and ten former pilots of the American Volunteer Group, the wartime Flying Tigers it was named after, and it became the first scheduled cargo airline in the United States. Federal Express bought it in December 1988 and merged it in August 1989.
