"Vuele con Iberia" (Fly with Iberia) reads the script across this colorful label, where an open Spanish fan and a spray of flowers sit beneath a four-engine propliner in Iberia markings, all on a sunny yellow ground with a red arrow underlining the name. Iberia began flying in December 1927, after the Spanish government contracted it to carry mail between Madrid and Barcelona. It was nationalised in 1944 and remains Spain's flag carrier today, based at Madrid-Barajas.
