Independence Air was a short-lived low-fare airline based at Washington Dulles, which began flying under that name in 2004 and shut down in early 2006. This 2004 poster for Boston shows a sleek blue glass tower soaring above an equestrian statue, setting the city's modern skyline against its long history in a clean, contemporary style. The artist is not recorded on our copy. Because the airline existed for less than two years, its promotional material is uncommon, making this a neat piece of recent airline history for collectors of the low-fare boom of the 2000s.
