Mario Borgoni (1869–1936), one of the great Neapolitan travel-poster artists, painted this view of the Italian Riviera around 1920. Seen from a terrace high above the coast, rocky cliffs drop into a sheltered bay at Portofino, with the French-language title naming its neighbors Santa Margherita and Rapallo. The color lithograph was printed in Naples by Richter & C., the firm behind many of Borgoni's landscapes, and the Library of Congress holds a copy. Written in French for the international crowd, it captures the Ligurian coast just as it was becoming a favorite of wealthy travelers arriving by train along the Riviera line.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
