This restored, vintage-style design for KLM is all about the aircraft. A four-engine propeller airliner with the graceful lines of the Lockheed Constellation type cruises through a clear blue sky, with the KLM disc set beside it. Designs like this celebrated the big piston airliners that carried passengers across oceans in the years after the Second World War, when long-distance flying was still a special occasion. KLM, the Royal Dutch Airlines, is one of the oldest airlines in the world. The art has been cleaned up and re-created for print.
