Under a red Transatlantic Service banner, a blue four-engine airliner flies above a full-rigged sailing ship, with KLM in bold capitals and The Flying Dutchman on a red ribbon below, all framed in red, white and blue. The sticker celebrates KLM's flights across the Atlantic: in 1946 the airline became the first to operate scheduled service to New York from mainland Europe. KLM was founded on 7 October 1919 and is the oldest airline still flying under its original name.
