A cheeky cartoon mouse in a red cap and flowered shorts rides a curling blue wave on a surfboard that carries the Lauda Air logo and the words "Partner of Lufthansa." It is a playful departure from the airline's usual sleek red strips. Niki Lauda founded Lauda Air in 1979, and its alliance with Lufthansa was signed in 1992, which places this sticker in the years that followed. The Vienna-based airline flew holidaymakers to sunny long-haul destinations before being absorbed into Austrian Airlines.
