This tall red Lufthansa piece carries a white "do not disturb" roundel, a small drawing of a resting passenger and lines of multilingual text, with the Lufthansa name at the foot. Labels like this let a sleeping traveller ask the cabin crew to let them rest on a long flight. The encircled crane that Lufthansa used throughout its history was first drawn in 1918 by Otto Firle, and it remains one of the most recognisable emblems in aviation.
