Simple and confident, this long blue banner says just "Fly Luxair," led by the airline's circular emblem. Luxair grew out of Luxembourg Airlines, founded in 1948, and began operating under the Luxair name on 31 March 1962 with a Fokker F27 on the Luxembourg to Paris route. The round logo seen here served the airline for 42 years before a new boomerang design arrived in December 2003. Slogan strips like this were made to be stuck on bags, cases and car windows.
