This bright yellow sticker shows a black helicopter silhouette beside the words "Legehelikopteret for Ostlandet" (the doctor helicopter for eastern Norway), with a membership appeal and the emergency number for the hospital base in Akershus. It comes from Stiftelsen Norsk Luftambulanse, the Norwegian Air Ambulance foundation founded in 1977 by Jens Moe. Its first service was inaugurated on 7 June 1978 at Akershus Central Hospital in Lorenskog, flying a leased MBB Bo 105 named Bard 1, and it has been funded by members ever since.
