In this version of the Northern Consolidated label, a red fly and a blue airliner share the center under the word FLY, with Western Alaska in script and Angler's Paradise in red above ALASKA. The airline's full name, Northern Consolidated Airlines, wraps around the edge. Formed in 1947 under Ray Petersen from several bush flying services, the airline linked anglers and residents with remote western Alaska until it merged with Wien on April 1, 1968. Passengers received labels like this for their bags.
