Bold red diagonal stripes fill a white circle on this sticker, crossed by a white band carrying the Northwest Airlines name and a small emblem. Northwest began on September 1, 1926, as Northwest Airways and grew into a major carrier based in the Twin Cities, flying across the Pacific to Asia and using the Northwest Orient name in its branding from 1947 to 1986. It merged with Delta, ending independent operations on January 31, 2010. A crisp, graphic design from a storied airline.
