This small gold seal shows a jet silhouette ringed by the Ozark Air Lines name and the Get Up and Go DC-9 jet by Douglas. It belongs to Ozark's jet debut: the airline ordered Douglas DC-9s in 1965 and received its first on May 28, 1966. The following year Ozark ran a campaign built around its Go-Getter Bird and Get Up and Go buttons. By 1971 the airline was flying 17 DC-9s, a quick shift from the propliners of its early years.
