Three white swallows dart across a green square above the Ozark Air Lines name in bold green capitals. The swallows were Ozark's trademark from the 1959 Fairchild F-27 livery onward and stood for on-time service, inspired by the swallows that return to Mission San Juan Capistrano every March. Headquartered at St. Louis Lambert, Ozark grew from DC-3 propliners to a fleet of Douglas DC-9 jets before TWA absorbed it in 1986. A clean, modern-looking piece of airline graphic design.
