A bold red chevron points the way beside the Pacific Western name on this red-bordered sticker, with a small form number printed in its corner. Pacific Western Airlines traced its start to Central British Columbia Airways, incorporated in 1945 by pilots Russ Baker and Walter Gilbert, and took the Pacific Western name in 1953. It moved its headquarters from Richmond, British Columbia to Calgary in 1974 and flew until March 1987, when it became part of Canadian Airlines International. Airlines gave out stickers like this to passengers to put on their luggage.
