American illustrator Al Moore (1910–1991) painted this Hawaii poster for Pan American World Airways around 1960, when the airline billed itself as the World's Most Experienced Airline. A hula dancer in a red and white floral sarong stands against a textured green background patterned like tapa cloth, an orange lei around her neck and a flower tucked in her hair. Bright lettering spells out Hawaii above her, with the Pan Am name and slogan below. It is a classic piece of the marketing that sold the islands to mainland travelers at the dawn of the jet age.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
