American illustrator Aaron Fine, who also illustrated children's books and wrote plays, designed this Italy via Jet Clipper poster for Pan Am around 1960. A Carabiniere in full ceremonial uniform and plumed hat stands saluting, with Italian landmarks gathered behind him in warm, stylized color. Fine's series for Pan Am promoted the airline's new jet age: Pan American began transatlantic service with the Boeing 707 in 1958, and Jet Clipper became the name for its jets. The wit and clean lines are typical of his mid-century work.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
