Palms frame a sunny city plaza in this restored, vintage-style poster art for Panagra, titled "Argentina." The date and artist of the design are not recorded. Panagra, Pan American-Grace Airways, was created in 1928 as a partnership between Pan American Airways and the W. R. Grace Company, whose ships already served South America. The airline flew south along the Pacific coast and across the Andes, and Argentina, with the broad avenues and plazas of Buenos Aires, was a key destination on its routes until Braniff took over Panagra in 1967.
