A historic tall ship rides the harbor at dusk in this photographic poster for Piedmont Airlines, with "Boston" across the top. The photographer is not recorded. Piedmont produced this destination series in the mid-1980s, when the North Carolina carrier was growing fast and billed itself as "The Up and Coming Airline." Both the National Air and Space Museum and SFO Museum hold the Boston poster in their collections, the Smithsonian copy described as a historic sailing ship in Boston harbor at sunset printed in blues, purples and black, with the campaign slogan along the bottom.
