A scalloped red-and-black seal reads 'Fly To Provincetown,' with a tall tower rising between two small aircraft and the advice 'Call Any Airline Or Travel Agent' below. The sticker names no carrier, but the Cape Cod town had its own: Provincetown-Boston Airline, founded there on November 30, 1949, by John C. Van Arsdale, whose first route linked Provincetown with Boston. It went on to fly DC-3s and Martin 4-0-4s before People Express took it over in 1986.
